Week 8 - Summer Photoshoot
This week we did our summer family photoshoot. We wrangle our kids, get dressed up fancy, and go spend an hour or so dripping sweat in the blazing hot sun while trying to look pretty for the camera. It’s as glamorous as it sounds. Everything goes perfect and exactly according to plan. LOLZ. Just kidding but my photographer is an actual pro and she does work magic and the pictures do turn out amazing each and every time. For the photoshoot I wore this dress from Free People and it did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this dress. It’s very flattering and very pretty but most importantly it is perfect for twirling. What good is a dress if you can’t twirl in it?
As an aside, I’ve been leaving comments on TikToks I like and the notifications are overwhelming and I can’t make them stop. One comment has 10K likes and I’m notified about each and every new like every 5 seconds and I may never comment on anything else ever again.
In other news I just read this article about how millennials feel embarrassed when they see their friends start posting like an influencer and now I am obsessed with the fact that people are watching me and feeling second-hand embarrassment. I love it for them and for me.

Daisy Jones and the Six - I LOVED this. So, so good. I could see this being a comfort show I return to over and over again. I also really love the music.
Just started The Crowded Room on AppleTV. I love thrillers. This is my bag, I’m prepared to love it.
